Unable to apply URL blocking changes


You need to configure the URL blocking policy in the Users and browser settings in the Admin Console. However, one of the users is still able to access the blocked URL but it is just for 10 minutes while the policy is working.

  1. Check the URL blocking settings.
  2. Check the network settings.
  3. Isolate the issue by applying one of the following options:
    • Access the URL using another device.
    • Acess the URL using a different user.
    • Remove and re-add the URL blocking.
    • Move the user to a different Organizational Unit.


Propagation delay since settings typically take effect in minutes, but can take up to 24 hours to apply for everyone.
