Unable to restore a user due to existing user aliases


You are unable to restore a user due to an existing alias in the Admin console.


  • Admin console
  • User and Organizational Level Management


  1. Go to the Admin console.
  2. Search for the aliases described in the error by using the Search field.
  3. Select the account's name that contains the alias.
  4. Click on User Information.
  5. Scroll to the section Email Aliases.
  6. Click on Delete.
  7. Select Save.
  8. Restore user deleted. 


Unable to restore the email address within the recently deleted section due to an existing email address or alias.
