Unable to see option to create an external Chat space

Problem

When creating a new Chat space, you are unable to see the option to make a Chat space available for external guests.

Solution

Check the subscription as turning external spaces on is supported only for select editions.

Supported editions for this feature:
  • Business Standard and Business Plus; Enterprise
  • Education Fundamentals
  • Education Standard
  • Teaching and Learning Upgrade, and Education Plus
  • G Suite Business; Essentials.
