Unable to sync Android managed account

Problem

You are unable to see recent emails on your Gmail account even though there are no errors displayed on Android devices.

Environment

  • Android device
  • Basic MDM

Solution

  1. Sign in to the Admin console.
  2. Navigate to MenuDevices > Mobile & endpoints > Devices.
  3. Hover over the device you wish to remove and click More > Delete Device.
    • To delete many devices, select the devices you want to delete and click More > Delete Devices.
    • Deleted devices are removed from the list of managed devices.
  4. Add the account on the device once more using the device settings or any Google app (Gmail, Drive, etc).
