Problem
When tryinh to upload files to your Drive, you get the live items limit error message: The limit for the number of items, whether trashed or not, created by this account has been exceeded.

Solution
You must remove items until they are under the limit.
Cause
A live item is any Google Drive item (examples: PDF, folder, Google Doc) that is either un-trashed or trashed. It is an item that users can interact with.
