Update ChromeOS manually

Chromebooks are not updating automatically.

For older versions of ChromeOS, you need to manually update it to catch up with the required version before it can auto-update again:

1. Login to the device.
2. Click the clock and go to the Settings.
3. Look for About ChromeOS.
4. And then check for updates.

Note: There is a scenario where these instructions will not work, and that is when the AUE of the device has already expired.
