Windows computer serial number not reported to Admin console

Problem
The Windows device entry in the Admin console is not linking a serial number, the field is empty and by consequence Context Aware Access does not work.

Solution
Confirm if the Windows machine is able to read this detail by following these steps:
In the affected machine, open the Command Prompt by pressing the Windows key on your keyboard, then press X.
Select Command Prompt (Admin) on the menu or just open CMD as Admnistrator.
Type wmic bios get serialnumber and then press Enter on your keyboard.
If the serial number does not load, refer to Microsoft or the manufacturer for further support.
