How to use in-line threading in Google Chat

Problem
How you can start an in-line threading conversation when using Google Chat spaces.
Environment
Solution
To reply in thread, you must follow the steps described below:
- Go to Google Chat or Gmail.
- Click Spaces and select a space.
- To reply, hover over the message and on the right, click Reply in thread.
- Tip: If a thread already has replies, you can click the message to open the thread panel.
- In the thread panel to the right of the space, enter your message in the message window at the bottom.
- Click Send.
Cause
If there are no replies to any message, the thread navigation panel won't show any interaction.
