You might encounter the following error codes and messages when using the advanced data method to copy data from Microsoft Teams to Google Workspace. Error codes are included in user and import reports.
Teams errors

| S001 | SourceAuthDenied | You don't have a Microsoft Azure application set up for Teams, or permission to access resources was denied. Set up an Azure application for Teams and then run a delta import. |
| S016 | SourceUserNotFound | The user can't be found in your Teams account. Make sure that the user exists in Teams and then run a delta import. |
| S100 | TeamOwnerNotFound | The team that you're importing doesn't have a designated owner. In Teams, assign a valid owner to the team. Then, in the Google Admin console, roll out spaces again. |
| S101 | TeamsMemberEmailNotFound | The team that you're importing doesn't have a valid email address. In Teams, assign the team an email address. Then, in the Google Admin console, run a delta import. |
| S102 | TeamsTokenRefreshFailure | The OAuth token for your Teams connection didn't refresh. In the Google Admin console, disconnect and reconnect your Teams account. Then, run a delta import. |
| S103 | TeamsTenantIdMismatch | The user or thread belongs to a different Teams account or organization. Make sure that you're importing only users and threads from the connected Teams account. Then, run a delta import. |
| S104 | TeamsUnsupportedMessageFormat | The message has formatting that Google Chat doesn't support, such as custom emojis, cards, or rich layouts. Unsupported message format elements are skipped or converted to plain text. No action is required. |
Workspace errors
| T100 | ChatSpaceNotFound | The Chat space where you want to import data was deleted or isn't available. Re-create the space or verify if it was deleted. Then, run a delta import. |
| T101 | ChatPermissionDenied | The delegated administrator doesn't have privileges to access the advanced data import tool. Grant import access to the administrator. Then, run a delta import. |
| T102 | ChatServiceDisabled | The Chat service isn't turned on for the user or organization that you're importing data to. Turn on Chat for your users. Then, run a delta import for OneDrive or SharePoint Online. |
| T103 | ChatSpaceAlreadyExists | The Chat space that you're importing was migrated or created in another data import. The data import tool skipped the import because the space already exists. Verify the target space in Chat. |
| T107 | UserNotFound | The data import can't find the Workspace user that you're importing to, or the user doesn't exist. Check the user status, and then re-create the user if necessary. |
| T108 | LimitReached | A data import is blocked because a Chat limit, such as space membership limit, thread count, or message limit, was reached. Check the limits for the Chat thread or space. |

| C100 | InvalidMigrationMapEntry | A Teams ID in the comma-separated values (CSV) file of teams to import can't be resolved or is invalid. Update the CSV file to ensure that the Teams ID is correct and can be accessed by the administrator running the data import. |
| C101 | MissingIdentityMappingEntry | The team that you're importing isn't mapped to a Workspace user in the identity map. Update the identity map with a Workspace email address for the user that you're importing to. Then, upload the identity map again. |
