Manage individual Google Cloud accounts

If there are users in your organization who signed up for individual Google Cloud accounts, you can convert these accounts to organization-managed accounts by verifying your organization's domain. Domain verification lets you manage security and privacy settings and apply other administrative controls for users in your organization.

Why verify my domain?

Verifying your domain lets you access the full set of administrator features, such as the ability to create user accounts, manage user profiles, control password strength, and apply data governance and security features. Domain verification also lets you manage users who created individual Google Cloud accounts, as well as other users in your organization.

Review how verifying a domain affects users

When you verify your domain, any users who signed up for individual Google Cloud accounts are converted to domain-verified users. Depending on your organization's policies for the domain, these users might need to change the way they sign in to their account. For example, if they sign in to Google Cloud using an email verification code, they might need to create a password to access their Workspace account at their next sign-in.
