Using Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), your users can use their Google Cloud credentials to sign in to enterprise-cloud applications.
Set up SSO via SAML for BlueJeans
Here's how to set up single sign-on (SSO) via SAML for the BlueJeans application.
Step 1: Set up BlueJeans as a SAML 2.0 service provider (SP)

In the Google Admin console, go to Menu

Authentication
SSO with SAML applications.
You must be signed in as a super administrator for this task.
- Copy and save the SSO URL and download the X.509 Certificate.
- In a new browser tab, log into your BlueJeans Admin Console as an administrator.
- Under the Admin tab, go to Group Settings > Security.
- under Authentication Options, click the SAML Single Sign On radio button.
- In the Login URL field, enter the SSO URL you copied in Step 3.
- Filling in the Logout URL field is optional. You can leave it empty.
- To fill in the Certificate Path, click the Choose File button to select the Google X.509 certificate you downloaded in Step 3.
- Copy and save the RelayState, which you'll need to complete SSO setup in Google in the next step.
Step 2: Set up Google as a SAML identity provider (IdP)

In the Google Admin console, go to Menu

You must be signed in as a super administrator for this task.

Click Add app
Search for apps.
- Enter BlueJeans in the search field.
- In the search results, hover over the BlueJeans SAML app and click Select.
- On the Google Identity Provider details page, click Continue.
- On the Service provider details page, replace the Start URL with the RelayState value you copied from Blue Jeans in Step 1 above.
- Click Continue.
- On the Attribute Mapping page, click the Select field menu and map the following Google directory attributes to their corresponding Blue Jeans attributes:

(Optional) To enter group names that are relevant for this app:
- For Group membership (optional), click Search for a group, enter one or more letters of the group name, and select the group name.
- Add additional groups as needed (maximum of 75 groups).
- For App attribute, enter the corresponding groups attribute name of the service provider.
Regardless of how many group names you enter, the SAML response includes only groups that a user is a member of (directly or indirectly). For more information, go to About group membership mapping.
- Click Finish.
Step 3: Enable the BlueJeans app

- Select BlueJeans.
- Click User access.

To turn a service on or off for everyone in your organization, click On for everyone or Off for everyone, and then click Save.

(Optional) To turn a service on or off for an organizational unit:
- At the left, select the organizational unit.
- To change the Service status, select On or Off.
- Choose one:
- If the Service status is set to Inherited and you want to keep the updated setting, even if the parent setting changes, click Override.
- If the Service status is set to Overridden, either click Inherit to revert to the same setting as its parent, or click Save to keep the new setting, even if the parent setting changes.

- (Optional) To turn on a service for a set of users across or within organizational units, select an access group. For details, go to Customize service access using access groups.
- Ensure that your BlueJeans user account email IDs match those in your Google domain.
Step 4: Verify that the SSO is working
BlueJeans supports both Identity Provider (IdP) initiated and Service Provider (SP) initiated SSO. Follow these steps to verify SSO in either mode:
IdP-initiated

- Select BlueJeans.
- At the top left, click Test SAML login.
BlueJeans should open in a separate tab. If it doesn't, use the information in the resulting SAML error messages to update your IdP and SP settings as needed, then retest SAML login.
SP-initiated
- Open https://your-domain-name.bluejeans.com. You should be automatically redirected to the Google sign in page.
- Enter your sign in credentials.
- After your sign in credentials are authenticated you will be automatically redirected back to BlueJeans.
