Use UPI for Workspace payments

If you're a qualified organization in India, you can use Unified Payments Interface (UPI) to make a manual payment or set up monthly recurring payments for your Google Workspace subscription. You can't use UPI to buy a new domain.

Review the requirements

To pay with UPI, you must:

  • Have a billing address and bank account in India.
  • Pay for your Workspace subscription with Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Have a configured and registered UPI account with a financial institution.

Before you can use UPI as a payment method, you need to make a prepayment of 500 INR.

Make a payment with UPI

  1. In the Google Admin console, go to Menu and then Billing and then Payment accounts.

    Requires having the Billing management privilege.

  2. Next to your subscription, click View payment methods.
  3. Click the account ID for your subscription.
  4. For Your balance, click Pay Early or Make a Payment.
  5. On the Make a payment page, click Pay with Netbanking.
  6. Click Pay by UPI QR Code and then confirm your email address and then click Continue.

  7. Enter the payment amount and then click Continue.

    A QR code is displayed.

  8. On your mobile device:

    1. Open the UPI app and scan the QR code.
    2. Follow the instructions to complete your payment.
