Turn Project Mariner on or off for users

If you're an administrator of Google accounts for an organization, you can control who uses Project Mariner from their account. You can turn on the Project Mariner service for everyone in your organization, specific organizational units, or specific groups.

Project Mariner is a research prototype that allows you to explore the future of human-agent interaction, using natural language prompts. Assign AI agents to complete time consuming tasks like research and data entry concurrently, so you can get more done while the agents work in the background.

Note: Project Mariner is available only to users who have a AI Ultra Access license. Learn how to purchase licenses.

When the service is turned on, users signed in with their Google Workspace account and with an assigned AI Ultra Access license can use all the services offered by Project Mariner.

Control who uses Project Mariner in your organization

By default, Project Mariner is available to all users over age 18 in the US with a AI Ultra Access license. Project Mariner is not covered by the Google Workspace Terms of Service. For terms and privacy details, go to How to use Project Mariner.
