You might encounter the following error codes and messages when using the data import tool to copy data from Exchange Online to Google Workspace. Error codes are included in the user and import reports.
Exchange Online errors

| S005 | ServiceInactive | Check your Exchange Online licenses and ensure that the service is active and not soft-deleted or hosted on-premise. |
| S006 | MailboxQuotaExceeded | Users updated their Exchange Online mailboxes during a data import or exceeded the mailbox quota. To avoid concurrency, users shouldn't use their mailboxes during an import. |
| S007 | InvalidArgument | Exchange Online doesn't include a user you want to import. Correct or delete the user's email address in your list of Exchange Online users, and then run a delta import. |
| S008 | MalformedRequest | The request was malformed during the Exchange Online crawl. |
| S009 | MoveInProgress | A move is in progress for the Exchange Online mailbox. When the move is complete, run a delta import. |
| S010 | ResourceNotFound | The Exchange Online mailbox doesn't have the requested item. Restore the item in Exchange Online and then run a delta import. |
Workspace errors

| T001 | ConnectionFailure | Your Workspace connection is unavailable due to invalid or missing account information, or the recipient server refused the connection request. Disconnect and reconnect your account. |
| T002 | OAuthException | Either the OAuth scopes don't have domain-wide delegation, or the user revoked access. In the Google Admin console, disconnect and reconnect your connection. |
| T003 | DWDPropagationPending | Allow up to 24 hours for the domain-wide delegation process to finish, and then run a delta import. |
| T004 | MailServiceDisabled | Turn on Gmail for your users. If the error continues, wait a few hours and then rerun the data import. |
| T005 | MemoryLimitExceeded | Workspace failed to process the import, either because the import data exceeded the memory limit, or storage is unavailable. This is a temporary error. Wait a few hours and then run a delta import. |
| T006 | PolicyRejections | Workspace rejected the sender or recipient policy. |
| T007 | UserNotFound | The Exchange Online or Workspace user can't be found or doesn't exist. Check the user status and re-create the user if necessary. |
| T008 | LimitReached | A data import is blocked if the number of email messages, calendar events, and contacts exceeds their limits. Data that exceeds these limits isn't imported. |
| T009 | TargetDataWriteFailure | Either an error occurred while writing the contact, or the data import tool couldn't retrieve resources to associate a contact ID with a label. |
| T010 | ObjectSizeLimitFailure | The contact information, resolution, or email message is too large to import. Email messages must be less than 25 MB. |
| T011 | TargetUserFetchFailure | This is a temporary error. Wait a few hours and then run a delta import. |
| T012 | QuotaExceeded | The data import exceeded the storage quota or failed the quota verification. Buy additional Workspace storage or update your user storage limits. Then, run a delta import. |
| T013 | UnableToFetchResources | Workspace can't get calendar resources. This is a temporary error. Wait a few hours and then run a delta import. |
| T014 | DuplicateEvent | Verify that the events are duplicates. If there are duplicates, only one of the items imports. |
| T015 | InvalidEmailForOrganizerOrAtendee | A calendar event includes an unsupported email address or contact list as an attendee or organizer. Check the error message for the invalid email addresses, and then update the event's contact list or distribution group. |
| T016 | CalendarEventModification | If a calendar event is modified in Exchange Online after it imports to Workspace, it can't be imported again. Delete the event in Calendar and rerun the data import. |
| T017 | UnsupportedRecurrencePattern | Calendar doesn't support the resource pattern for a recurring calendar event. Simplify the recurrence pattern or re-create the event in Calendar. |
| T018 | EventNonOrganizerException | Each user in a calendar event must be either an attendee or organizer, or the event won't import. |
| T019 | MessageRejected | Either Workspace rejected an email message for the recipient domain, or GRBL rejected the email message to prevent spam or abusive activity. |
| T020 | RequiredHeaderMissing | A Microsoft Outlook email message has more than one email address in the From field. Ensure that each email that you're importing has only one address in the From field and then run a delta import. |
| T021 | InvalidLabelFound | A label is invalid. Fix the label error and then run a delta import. |
| T022 | MailAttachmentFailures | The data import included prohibited email attachments. |
| T023 | BounceMessageException | The data import tool doesn't support bounce messages. |
| T024 | MessageDeferredFromStartup | The state of a message didn't match the import's configuration. Don't update email statuses during the data import. |
| T025 | AutoResponseNotAccepted | The data import tool doesn't support automated response email messages. |
| T026 | VirusAttachmentFailures | Gmail blocks messages that might spread viruses, such as messages with executable files or certain links. |
| T027 | MissingRelayDomain | Select an email relay domain and then run a delta import. |
| T028 | ClassifiedAsSpam | The data import tool doesn't permit spam email messages. |
| T029 | TargetLabelNotFound | An Exchange Online email label already exists in Workspace. Remove the label in Workspace and then run a delta import. |
| T030 | CalendarServiceDisabled | Turn on calendars for your users. If the error continues, wait a few hours and then rerun the data import. |
| T031 | CalendarQuotaExceeded | The data import exceeded the quota or failed the quota check. This is a temporary error. Wait a few hours and the run a delta import. |
| T032 | AttendeesNotMigrated | In Exchange Online, organize individual attendees in groups, and then add the groups as attendees. This makes it easier to import events with a large number of participants. |
| T033 | ContactAssociationFailure | Review the detailed error message, update the contacts that failed to link with a label or contact group, and then run a delta import. |
| T034 | UnmappedExternalTargetError | There are unmapped errors from Gmail. If the error continues, contact Google Workspace support. |
| T035 | TransientTargetErrot | This is a temporary error. Run a delta import. |
| T036 | PermanentTargetError | This is a data operations error from Gmail. If the error continues, contact Google Workspace support. |
| T037 | MalformedTargetRequest | Due to data operations error from Gmail, the Gmail request message payload is malformed. If the error continues, contact Google Workspace support. |
| T038 | InvalidExternalArgument | An external argument was invalid, likely due to invalid or missing labels or unexpected headers. Update the item and then run a delta import. If the error continues, contact Google Workspace support. |
| T039 | GmailPermissionDenied | Permission was denied by Gmail for one of the following reasons:
Provide the necessary permission and then run a delta import. |
| T040 | DriveServiceDisabled | The Google Drive service is turned off. Turn on Drive for your users. If the error continues, wait a few hours, and then rerun the data import. |
