Wat je moet weten voordat je van editie wisselt

  • Iedereen binnen uw organisatie krijgt hetzelfde abonnement. U kunt bijvoorbeeld niet sommige gebruikers overzetten naar Business Plus terwijl anderen de Business Standard-editie blijven gebruiken.
  • Als u een jaarabonnement of een abonnement met een vaste looptijd hebt, omvat de overgang al uw huidige gebruikers.
  • Als u uw huidige abonnement wilt upgraden en u betaalt jaarlijks, dan kunt u alleen overstappen naar een jaarlijks abonnement met maandelijkse betalingen. Na de overstap ontvangt u een evenredige korting op het resterende jaarlijkse abonnementsbedrag.
  • Alleen organisaties met 300 of minder gebruikers kunnen overstappen van een Enterprise-editie naar een Business-editie.
  • Als je tijdens je gratis proefperiode van editie wisselt, worden de resterende dagen van de proefperiode toegevoegd aan je nieuwe abonnement. Als je bijvoorbeeld op de tiende dag van je gratis proefperiode van editie wisselt, tellen de laatste vier dagen van de proefperiode mee voor je nieuwe abonnement.
  • Als u uw editie downgradet en een functie verliest, zoals gegevensverliespreventie (DLP) of Google Vault, kunt u die functie terugkrijgen als u binnen 51 dagen een upgrade uitvoert. Anders moet u minstens 85 dagen wachten voordat u kunt upgraden naar een editie met die functie.
  • Als u een downgrade uitvoert en u hebt add-on-abonnementen aangeschaft, behouden gebruikers met een add-on-licentie de add-on en de bijbehorende functies. Als u bijvoorbeeld de AI Ultra Access-add-on hebt gekocht, behouden gebruikers met een AI Ultra Access-licentie na de downgrade de add-on en alle functies ervan voor Google Workspace met Gemini, de Gemini-app en NotebookLM.

Als u geavanceerd eindpuntbeheer gebruikt, schakelt u basisbeheer in om ervoor te zorgen dat gebruikers die hun apparaten hebben geregistreerd, geen toegang verliezen tot hun Google Workspace-gegevens op mobiele apparaten.

Voorkom verlies van gegevens die worden beschermd door Google Vault.

Als u bewaarregels of blokkeringen voor Vault hebt ingesteld, zorg er dan voor dat de Vault-gegevens behouden blijven bij het wisselen van editie .

Je krijgt 30 GB extra opslagruimte per gebruiker, die wordt toegevoegd aan de gezamenlijke opslag van je organisatie. Om te bepalen of je voldoende ruimte hebt:

  2. Click your subscription.
  3. In the expanded section, find the number of user licenses you currently have.
  4. Multiply the number of licenses by 30.
  5. If you have Google Workspace Additional Storage subscriptions:
    1. Multiply the number of subscriptions by the subscription storage capacity in GB: 100, 1,000 (for 1 TB subscriptions), or 10,000 (for 10 TB subscriptions). For example, if you have 3 subscriptions of 1 TB, multiply 3*1,000 = 3,000 GB.
    2. Add the result to the number from step 4.

    The result is your organization's total pooled storage limit in GB after you switch to Business Starter.

  6. Go to Menu en dan Opslag .
  7. At the top, find your organization's current storage use. If it's more than your calculated total storage limit with Business Starter, to avoid service interruptions, free up or get more storage before you switch.

Users don't lose any data, but they have the following restrictions:

  • Gmail —Users see warnings that they soon won't be able to send or receive messages.
  • Google Drive —Users can't do the following actions:
    • Upload any new files to Drive.
    • Save Gmail attachments to Drive.
    • Create files in collaborative content creation apps, such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms, and Recorder.
    • Edit files created in collaborative content creation apps after May 2, 2022. They can still edit files created in those apps before May 2, 2022.
  • Google Photos —Users can upload new photos and videos only under certain size limits. For details, go to Choose the upload size of your photos and videos .

Upgrade to Business Starter

Supported editions: Frontline Starter, G Suite Lite, G Suite Basic

  1. In the Google Admin console, go to Menu en dan Facturering en dan Buy or upgrade .

  2. Next to the edition that you want to switch to, click Upgrade or Switch .
  3. Review the impact that this change will have and click Next .
  4. If your current subscription is on the Flexible Plan, select a payment plan for your new subscription:
    • Flexible plan —No long-term commitment, pay for the users that you have each month, and add or remove users as needed.
    • Annual plan (monthly payment) —Requires a one-year contract. Pay a monthly user commitment and add users as needed. To increase the number of users, enter a new number for Total users . The Annual Plan isn't available when you downgrade to a lower-level edition.
  5. If your current subscription is on the Annual Plan (yearly or monthly payments), select Annual plan (monthly payment) as the payment plan for your new subscription.
  6. (Optional) To add a promotional code, for Flexible plan , click Add promotion code and enter the code.
  7. Click Checkout en dan Place Order .

Downgrade to Business Starter

Supported editions: Business Standard and Business Plus, all Enterprise editions, Enterprise Essentials and Enterprise Essentials Plus, G Suite Business

To downgrade from Frontline Standard or Frontline Plus, contact Google Sales .
