Buy HP Dimension with Google Beam

Google Beam consists of both the HP Dimension hardware and the license for the Google Beam software. They must be bought together, with one license for each device. Where to buy

HP Dimension with Google Beam can only be bought through HP Amplify resellers.

Prerequisites

  • A Google Workspace edition (at least Enterprise Standard) and verified domain.
  • The reseller's customer ID (they'll provide this).
  • If buying Google Beam for Zoom, you need to provide your Zoom account number

Order HP Dimension with Google Beam

Your organization must select a primary reseller for the initial Beam software purchase, as this reseller will handle Beam subscriptions and renewals for the entire organization.

Your reseller will order HP Dimension with Google Beam on your behalf. For them to order, you must give them purchase consent for Beam. For details, go to Buy subscriptions through resellers.

  1. In the Google Admin console, go to Menu and then Account and then Reseller management.

    You must be signed in as a super administrator for this task.

  2. Enter the reseller's customer ID and click Continue.
  3. Select the type of license you want to purchase: Google Beam for Meet or Google Beam for Zoom.
  4. Click Create Purchase Consent.
  5. Click OK.

If successful, a confirmation box shows. You can view reseller-managed and direct subscriptions by returning to Reseller management.

Once the reseller has completed the purchase, you need to sign in to the Google Admin console to review and accept the Beam Enterprise License Agreement, the Google Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy to activate your subscription and make licenses available. This must be done before enrolling the devices.

If you're purchasing Google Beam for Zoom licenses, activating the subscription also makes Zoom Rooms for Google Beam licenses available in the Zoom web portal so they can be assigned to Zoom Rooms.

Note: It's uncommon to have both Google Beam for Meet and Google Beam for Zoom licenses. Your organization can only have one authorized software reseller for each Beam license type at a time. However, to support local installation, you can purchase HP Dimension hardware through multiple regional resellers.

Additional orders (mid-term)

Any Beam licenses added mid-term will be co-termed to end on the existing term end date of your organization's existing Beam licenses. Your reseller will charge a prorated price based on the number of days between the booking and the renewal date.

Shipping, tracking, and billing

After you place the order, your reseller will provide information about shipping and tracking. The purchase is billed through the reseller, and you'll receive an invoice from them separate from any other Google subscriptions you may have.
