HP Dimension devices run ChromeOS, and automatically download firmware/OS updates when they become available in the Stable release channel. The updates are then installed the next time the device restarts (whether that's automatically on a schedule or a manual restart).
To ensure compatibility and maintain optimal stability and quality, you can't opt out of updates. However, administrator settings for scheduled restarts do let you control the timing to ensure that they don't conflict with regular business hours. The specifics vary slightly depending on your video conferencing platform.

Google Beam for Meet
You should restart devices at least once per week, and we recommend 2-3 times per week. To schedule restarts, follow the instructions in Configure time zone and scheduled restart settings. This setting can be configured at the organizational unit level.
Note: The Google Admin console's Release channel setting isn't applied to HP Dimension devices, regardless of how it's set—only the Stable release channel is available.

After downloading an update, the device automatically checks its upcoming meeting schedule and restarts immediately to install the update if there is a long enough open block of time that the install won't interfere with scheduled meetings. You can also set devices to restart weekly using the weekly system restart setting. Restarts occur between 1:00–6:00am local time and only when no meeting is in progress in that room, with Saturday as the default day (configurable to any day).
To set up weekly restarts, follow the instructions in Zoom Rooms weekly system restart.
