Manage Drive for desktop updates for your users
Stay organized with collections
Save and categorize content based on your preferences.
As an administrator, you can avoid compatibility issues and service interruptions with Drive for desktop. To do so, keep your users on a version of Drive for desktop that Google released within the last 12 months.
The easiest way is to allow auto-updates, which are on by default. If you turn off auto-update, we recommend that you review what version is on users' devices and make updates available as soon as you can.
Google may disable outdated versions of Drive for desktop at any time.
Review what version is on users' devices
