As an administrator, you can control the sources which Gemini can search and use to create responses in Workspace Studio flows, which include AI-powered steps. The sources that Gemini searches can be data on public websites or data a user can access in their Workspace accounts.
Options that you choose not to include are greyed out and unavailable to users in Workspace Studio.
Choose which sources Gemini can search
- In the Google Admin console, go to Menu
Apps Google Workspace Workspace Studio. - Click the Gemini data sources section.
Check the box for each source that you want Gemini to search (uncheck to disallow):
- Allow Gemini to search Workspace data
- Allow Gemini to search public websites
If you uncheck an option and a user's flow is affected, the user gets a notification in the Studio activity log.
Click Save.
