Understand device usage for your organization's devices

You can view detailed health and usage data for a device and its associated peripherals on the Device history page. Three types of usage data display on this page:

  • Issues—Device health problems that are detected and persist over time (including those that trigger connectivity and peripheral alerts)
  • Activities—Records of what the Google Meet hardware device is actually being used for at any given time
  • Events—Notable point-in-time occurrences that can be useful to admins looking to troubleshoot issues

To go to the Device history page:

  1. In the Google Admin console, go to Menu and then Devices and then Google Meet hardware and then Devices.

Some features need the Meet hardware View devices privilege.

  2. Select Device name and then Device history.
  3. On the Google Meet hardware page, click Inspect issue, activity, and event data.
