As an administrator, you manage how actions taken by Google Workspace Studio flows are shown to users both inside and outside your organization. When a flow performs an action on a user's behalf, you determine whether the action is attributed to the flow itself or to the flow owner. People inside and outside of your organization can see this attribution.
When this setting is on (default), actions taken by a flow are attributed to the flow identity, which includes flow name, flow owner name, agent avatar, badge, and icon. When this setting is off, flow actions are attributed to the flow owner.
Turn flow attribution on or off
- In your Admin console, go to Menu
Agents
Settings.
- Click Studio flow attribution visibility.
- Select an option and click Save.
Keep in mind
- Flow attribution settings aren't supported for all Google Workspace apps. In this case, flows are always attributed to the flow owner.
- Turning off attribution or using flow attribution doesn't guarantee anonymity. For example, someone might identify that a flow was used by checking email message headers or viewing the page's HTML source code.
- When a flow action is manually reviewed by the flow owner, the action may be attributed to the owner instead of the flow, regardless of this setting.
