Your organization might have a Data Studio Pro subscription separate from the one that you purchased through Google Workspace. If any of your users has an individual Google Cloud billing account, they might also have a subscription to Data Studio Pro, separate from your organization's subscription that was purchased through Workspace.
Manage multiple subscriptions in your organization
If your organization has multiple Data Studio Pro subscriptions, each subscription needs to be associated with a separate Google Cloud project. You can assign a user a license to any or all of your subscriptions. The user can then access Data Studio Pro features for the projects associated with each subscription.
You can only buy one Data Studio Pro subscription through Workspace. For that subscription only, you manage licenses using your Google Admin console. For any other subscriptions, you manage licenses through the Google Cloud console or Data Studio's in-app Pro Management page.
Manage individual & organization subscriptions
If a user has their own Data Studio Pro subscription that they purchased through their separate Google Cloud billing account, you can't manage that subscription. However, you can assign them a license for any Data Studio Pro subscription that your organization has purchased, either through Workspace or separately. Each subscription needs to be associated with a separate Google Cloud project.
