Set policies for how users add or create data sources from third-party connectors
Stay organized with collections
Save and categorize content based on your preferences.
In the Google Admin console, you can control whether users can add data sources
from third-party — that is, non-Google —
connectors by following these steps:
In the Google Admin console, go to Menu AppsAdditional Google servicesData Studio.
Select the Features card to expand the configuration options.
Select Third Party Settings.
By default, all non-Google connectors will be allowed. Check the Disable
new non-Google data source connectors box to prevent users from adding
data sources from non-Google connectors.
Select Save.
Apps Script required
To view data in a chart that is based on a community connector, Apps Script must
be enabled for your organization. When Apps Script is disabled, community
connectors can't fetch data and you'll see an error in the chart.
